Is it cheaper to book directly?
Yes. On this site the same dates cost at least 20% less than on Airbnb or Booking.com, because no booking site takes a commission.
When do I pay?
You choose when you book, and the price is the same. Pay by card: there is no deposit; your card is saved securely by Stripe as a guarantee, and the full stay is charged at 3 pm the day before arrival, when free cancellation ends (straight away for arrivals today or tomorrow). Pay on arrival: no card is needed, and you pay for the stay when you arrive, by card, in cash or with a payment link.
Can I cancel for free?
Yes, up to 24 hours before arrival, and you pay nothing: if you chose to pay by card, it has not been charged yet. After that, or if you do not arrive, the full stay is due. All the details are in the cancellation policy.
Is the Venice city tax included?
No, it is paid during your stay, and only for the first five nights: €4 per person per night, €2 for children aged 10 to 15, free under 10 (in January €2.80 and €1.40).
